Privacy Policy

When you create an account we collect your email address and a securely hashed password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). We do not store your password in plain text.

When you create price alerts, we store the coin, target price, condition, and status you choose, associated with your account.

We also collect limited technical and usage information automatically whenever you visit, whether or not you have an account: the pages you view, the link or search that brought you here, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and details of your device, browser and screen size. This is described further under Analytics and session recording.

We use your email to authenticate you and to send the price-alert notifications you set up. We use your alert data solely to check market prices and notify you when your conditions are met.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use cookies and similar browser storage for two purposes. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your light or dark theme; the site cannot work properly without them. Analytics cookies, set by the providers described in the next section, tell us how the site is being used.

Analytics cookies are set when you arrive, without a separate consent prompt. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings or a tracker-blocking extension. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop alerts from working.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and broad characteristics such as country, device type and browser. We use it to understand which parts of the site are useful, not to identify individual visitors.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with the site — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the order in which pages are viewed. Clarity can replay that activity as an anonymised session recording and combine it across visitors into heatmaps. We use it only to find usability problems, such as a button people cannot find or a form they abandon.

Neither tool runs in the content-management area of the site. We do not use analytics data for advertising and we do not sell it. Google and Microsoft each process this data under their own privacy policies, and it may be handled on servers outside your country — see their privacy notices for what they collect and how long they keep it.

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Resend (transactional email delivery), CoinGecko (cryptocurrency market data), Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and Microsoft Clarity (usability analytics and session recording). Market-data requests do not include your personal information.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and is responsible for the data it holds.

Your alerts are protected by row-level security, meaning only your authenticated account can read or modify them. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure.

You can edit or delete your alerts at any time from your dashboard. If you wish to delete your account or request removal of your data, please reach out via our Contact page.

To stop analytics and session recording, you can install Google's official browser opt-out add-on, use a tracker-blocking extension, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings. Private-browsing modes also discard cookies when you close the window. Blocking these does not affect alerts or your account.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
